It’s back to school season and schedules are full of homework, after school clubs and sports! All the hustle and bustle can make it difficult to squeeze in family time and healthy food. Hopefully we can help with the food part by sharing some of our favorite healthy snack hacks! All of these recipes are no-bake and even the littlest hands can help make them. Happy snacking and WELCOME FALL!
Celery & Almond Butter
Ants on a log gets a big update! We used almond butter and blueberries in the photo but you can use just about anything.
Consider crowning those celery sticks with:
Apple & Nut Butter Yogurt Dip
Seriously yum, and seriously easy. This makes one serving but the recipe can be doubled or tripled or more!
Fall is the tail end of cherry season here in Western Montana so we are using them in everything! For the dip pictured we used greek yogurt, almond butter, and chopped cherries.
This is an easy way to get probiotics into your kiddos and sneak in some extra fruit. This is also a great recipe if you only have a little bit of yogurt left in your container!
Here’s the hack though… rubber band your cut up apple! If your little ones aren’t old enough to use knives on their own, you can cut up your apple and rubber band it back together. This keeps your apple fresh, and it’s the closest we’ll get to a magic trick.
These little guys are super popular treat on Pinterest. And I know why!! They are easy, super healthy, and everyone can enjoy them. You can prep up a cookie sheet full of these in almost no time at all. Keep them in the freezer for easy snacking.
Latchkey kids can have something to tide them over until supper and you don’t have to worry about them using knives or burning down the house while home alone. This apple hack is great for afternoons at your desk or feeding fussy little ones that *must* have their apple sliced.
Cashew Coconut Yum Yum Balls
Talk about 👌🏽 !! These balls are on point and you don’t need any heavy equipment to make them. Let your little ones decide what to put in these and change it up each week!

Tortilla Roll -Up
This is one of our all time favorite snacks to make. Sometimes, we warm the tortilla in a skillet and roll it like a burrito instead of a roll-up. The basic recipe is Moxie Nosh Nut Butter, fruit, and a topping in your tortilla.
Cashew or Almond? That’s up to you! Check out these fruit + topping combos!
